Arshi SS: Mistakes in Love Chapter 41

Pradeep kept following her and caught her hand and grabbed her near him. Vicky joined him and said "Come on Pradeep, you are attracted to this girl?" Pradeep said "Yeah, look at her. Doesn't she look hot?" Khushi shouted and said "Just leave me. You don't have any shame? Your Arnav's friends and behaving this way with his wife?" Vicky said "Oh wow. What do you think of yourself? Your Arnav's wife but still a beggar from the chawl only. Don't forget your status. We can buy girls like you in seconds." Pradeep said "What's the hurry Khushi? This is normal in these big parties. It's only the matter of few hours and I am sure Arnav won't mind." Khushi pushed him and slapped him hard. Vicky caught her hand and she pushed him which made him fall on the ground. He got up angrily and slapped Khushi and tried to molest her.

Arnav came searching Khushi and noticed that Pradeep and Vicky were misbehaving with her. He came and grabbed Vicky and hit him hard on his face. She slapped him and he started bleeding. He hit Pradeep as well and Khushi caught his hand to stop him. Arnav was too drunk to understand anything and angry as well. He did not realize anything and slapped Khushi for stopping him. Vikram and Gauri came outside and stopped the fight. They told Khushi to take Arnav to the room and all the guests noticed the fight and left the house. Pradeep and Vicky too left the house.

After an hour, Gauri got a call that her sister in Pune met with an accident while coming from Pune to the party. She informed Khushi that she would need to go to Pune immediately and told her to take care of Arnav. Gauri and Vikram left for Pune and Arnav and Khushi were alone at home.

Khushi brought the first aid box and removed a piece cotton and dipped it in Dettol. She took Arnav's hand and while blowing on his hand, she applied the cotton which burned his hand and he started screaming with pain. He was already angry with what had happened in the party and got up with frustration asking Khushi to leave the room.

Khushi approached him saying "Arnav, please let me apply the medicine else the wound will get worse."

Arnav said "Enough Khushi. Already you have given me so many wounds that will never heal. This is nothing compared to that. Who told you to wear such a short dress and flaunt your legs in the party?"

Khushi said "What's wrong Arnav? You mean to say that I was responsible for what happened?"

Arnav said "Of course. You are responsible for everything that has happened till today in my life. Those boys would not have teased you if you had not worn such a short dress. I don't know why you needed to expose yourself in a party?" Khushi started crying hearing this and Arnav continued saying "First because of you a lot of problems have already happened in my life. I left my parents for you and our child. You aborted the child without even asking me. You came that day to the office and made me leave all my work to talk to you because of which my boss told me to quit the job as I had already taken a leave because of the accident and after that was not able to concentrate on my work due to you. You fell sick and I thought of spending the day with you and lost the contract only because of you. Mom was not feeling well as well due to her knee pain and for whom she was going up and down the stairs, because she wanted to look after you. You don't eat food due to your stubbornness and because of that, the entire house has to run after you. Everything wrong that had happened in my life till today is only because of you."

Khushi said "Please Arnav. Stop it. I just can't take any more from you. How much are you going to curse me? It was not my mistake that those boys molested...." She broke down and sat on the floor crying.
