Arnav got admitted in the hospital and was taken to the operation theater.
Khushi remained outside and kept weeping as she could not see Arnav in this state and with so much pain. She called up Priya and told her to come fast as she was alone in the hospital.
The doctors came out of the operation theater and asked her to sign the hospital papers and also deposit INR 50,000 as a hospital fee.
Priya reached the hospital after half an hour and Khushi asked her to lend her INR 50,000 as she did not have any cash with her at that moment.
Priya told her that she could only lend her INR 10,000 which she can withdraw from the ATM and since it was last night, the banks would be closed.
Priya gave Khushi the money and Khushi contacted few Arnav's friends for cash but since it was late night, some did not pick up the call and the others did not have cash ready with them.
Khushi thought that only her parents could help her in this and so she decided to leave from there and told Priya to stay in this hospital while she arranges for the money and she told her to keep the cash she had given her safely with her.
Khushi halted a rickshaw and went to her parent's house in Chakala.
She got down from the rickshaw and found that she did not have money to even pay the rickshaw as she had carried very less money while leaving the house in a hurry.
Khushi gave the rickshaw driver the money she had bust she fell short of 20 bucks which a neighbor lent her and asked her if she was OK because Khushi was looking too stressed and hurt but Khushi told her that she is fine and she went to her house. She was reluctant to knock the door thinking how her family will react when they see her.
Khushi knocked the door and Kasturi opened the door.
She asked her the reason of coming to her house after 2 months to which Khushi explained her what had happened to Arnav and that she required money for paying the hospital expenses.
Kasturi went to her bedroom and took out the jewelry and gave to to Khushi saying "This jewelry you dad made for you and thought to give it for your wedding. This is the last thing I have of yours and now I cannot afford to give you anything more. In any case, you were dead for me the day you broke our trust for a boy. Ever since you left this house, your dad's health became worse and few days’ back he suffered from a heart attack and we did not even have money for his hospital expenses. I had to sell all my jewelry for paying the bills and I wanted to sell your jewelry too but your dad stopped me saying that it belongs to you and if you come here anytime, I should give it to you. Now it will help you in paying your expenses."
Khushi said "Thanks mom but dad is not keeping well now? I want to see him once."
Kasturi held Khushi's hand and said "No, don't go before him. Already because of you we all have suffered a lot and now I don't want my husband to die because of my daughter. I feel that by giving you birth, I have done a mistake as you did not once think of your family reputation before getting pregnant and you ruined your family's name. Your dad did so much for you and even took a loan for your studies. He treated you as a princess and whenever you used to make mistakes when you were small, I used to scold you and he used to take your side. You took advantage of his feelings and crossed all your limits."
Khushi said "Mom, once hear me. That day also without hearing me you made me leave the house. I know it was my mistake but I never wanted to hurt my family."
Kasturi scolded "Enough Khushi, I don't want to hear anything now. You did whatever you wanted and now kindly leave from here and from today don't expect anything from us. Please leave"
Kasturi closed the door on Khushi's face. Khushi left from there and mortgaged the jewelry and paid the hospital bills with the money. She told Priya that her dad is not well and her family does not want to see her face anymore.
