Khushi said "What did you say Arnav? My parents have left me and so I want you to be with me always? How much hatred do you have for me? I cannot believe that this is the same Arnav I loved so much and for whom I left my parents."
Arnav got up angrily and said "Haan so go back to them then. Why are you eating my brain continuously? Not spending time with me, not talking to me. What the hell you want from me? You did not even take a second to abort our child and now you are telling me all these things so that our life can be the same way as it was? It can never be the same as now there is nothing that can resolve this bitterness between us. It will be permanent."
Khushi's eyes were filled with tears. She said softly "You mean to say that our relationship, our feelings for each other, everything is just over? We will forever be living like strangers under a roof? Nothing can bring back the love between us?"
Arnav said "No. Nothing can ever bring back the love between us. You will have to live with it as I am living now. If you can't then it's your wish. If you find a better place to live in, you are free to leave."
"You want me to leave you Arnav?" Khushi asked him as her heart was paining a lot.
Arnav took a deep breath and said "If you want...Yes."
Khushi wiped her tears and said "Hmmm...OK. I guess that it's all over between us. I feel that this relationship has become a burden for you and I too have become a burden. I don't want you to live with me just for the sake of this marriage. I.... (She took a breath and said) I will leave and (she took a glass of water and drank it and said) I will pack my bags and tell Priya to search a place for me tomorrow. I guess I'll leave now. Thanks for spending this time with me Arnav and sorry for everything I have done to you. I cannot make up for my mistakes but I can assure you that I will try not to come in your life again to hurt you. I wish you good luck. Be happy, stay happy. I..... (She took a breath and wiped her tears again and said) I love you and always will love you."
Khushi left the place and Arnav did not stop her. As she entered the rickshaw, Arnav watched her from the corner of his eyes and a tear slipped from his eye.
Arnav heart wanted to stop her but his mind took over his heart. He just turned the other side and closed his fist and banged the table in frustration saying "Why Arnav? Why? You had decided that you will not be rude to her but still why you hurt her? You cannot see tears in her eyes but today you only brought tears in her eyes. Why did you do this to her? She wants to leave you and go. Can you live without her? How will you stop her from going? What can make her not leave you? How will you make her stay back? You can't let your life go away like this Arnav."
