Arnav said "I searched her everywhere but I don't know where she has gone. I went to the temple, beach, hospital, college and now am come here with the hope that she must have come here. You were right aunty, I should have not been rude to her. She trusted me the most that I would be with her forever but I only was not able to understand her pain. I don't know where she has gone. I want her back and now I will never ever let her go."
Rashmi tried to console Arnav and opened the door of the rented flat for him to spend some time.
Arnav went inside and looked around to see that the way they had left the flat months back, the flat was the same and the furniture also was left untouched. He recollected the room where he and Khushi spent most of their time chatting, laughing, sharing their love moments and he imagined Khushi walking out of the room and hugging him the way she used to when he used to come from work.
Arnav embraced her and caught her tight in his arms and in moments he realized that it was just his imagination.
Arnav entered the kitchen and touched the vessels and the place on the platform where Khushi used to sit and he used to make food and feed her.
He smiled thinking about those moments when he made rice and dal for lunch and he was feeding her. She eat one morsel and bit his finger and she started laughing when he started screaming in pain. He said "Ouch Khushi, you bit my finger" and he looked up to see that it was not her but he was just remembering those moments.
Arnav entered the hall and remembered those last moments he and Khushi spent in the house, the day when they were leaving the house.

FLASHBACK STARTS...
Khushi woke up from her sleep and saw Arnav besides her. She got up from the bed and said "Arnav, are you fine? How's your leg?"
Arnav looked at her and said "Eat the food. If you want anything, I'll make it."
Khushi smiled and said "You forgave me Arnav. I am really sorry. I did not tell you about..."
Arnav stopped her saying "I don't want to talk about this. I am only doing this as you are my responsibility. I got married to you and now there is nothing left between us except that we need to be with each other and stay under one roof. All the love, all those feelings are just dead."
Khushi said "All the love between us is dead? How can you say this Arnav? I still love you and I..."
Arnav said "Enough. If you want anything tell me else I don't want to talk about this."
Arnav left the room and Khushi kept looking at him while leaving. She did not feel like eating anything after hearing those words from Arnav that his feelings are dead.
Days passed by and it had been all silent in the house. It was like two strangers were living in the same house and not talking to each other.
Khushi felt miserable with Arnav's ignorance and he used to behave as if it was his job to be with her and look after her.
Arnav started going back to his office after the renovation was complete and he used to spend hours in the office so that he does not have to come home when Khushi is awake.
He used to everyday leave for office before Khushi used to wake up and come home after she goes to sleep. When she used to try to call him, he used to either switch off the phone or message her that he is attending a meeting or is too busy in office work.
Arnav never wanted to even interact with her about anything and his silence was killing her within. She decided to sort things out but instead everything became worse between them.
Khushi confronted Arnav in his office and told him to come outside to meet her.
Arnav said "Why did you call me here? I have got a job to do and cannot just chit chat leaving my work."
Khushi said "Do you know me Arnav?"
Arnav said "What kind of a question is this Khushi? Have you called me here to ask this?"
Khushi said "At least you remember my name. It has been days since I have heard my name from your mouth. You don't have any time to talk to me and here too you want to rush to the office. Do you not have 5 minutes for me? After all, we are married Arnav."
Arnav said "Yes I know that we are married but that does not mean that whole day and night I keep talking to you. I am living with you till now and that's more than enough. Why are you complaining?"
Khushi said "I can see the anger in your eyes Arnav. You have still not forgive me for the baby na? I have said that it was my mistake that I did not inform you but for that how much are you going to punish me Arnav. I cannot bear your ignorance anymore. At home you behave like a stranger with me. There is no love, no care, nothing. I feel like I am living like a tenant in the house when I am your wife and not a stranger. How much we used to love each other and you used to call me up daily when you were in office to know how I am. Now you do not even call me and not even talk to me in the house. I have not heard your voice for days now. Why are you treating me this way Arnav?"
