Arshi SS: My life, an unsolved mystery Chapter 26

A week passes by...

Arnav's bail application gets rejected by the court and Vikram tries all his contacts and efforts to get Arnav out of jail but all his attempts failed as this time Arnav was trapped completely due to the death of the main culprit Kailash.

Khushi gets to know off Arnav's arrest on reaching home and tells Gauri that she wants to meet Arnav in jail.

Khushi reaches the police station and is made to wait in a room and she is told to wait. Arnav is taken to a room and Khushi gets off the chair and looks at him. They both hug each other.

Arnav's eyes are filled with tears of joy on seeing Khushi after so much time.

Khushi says "Arnav, how are you (she kisses his forehead, cheeks and wipes his tears)?"

Arnav says "I am fine love. I love you very much." Arnav wipes of Khushi's tears and kisses her eyes.

Arnav says "Khushi, are you fine? I am sorry I could not be with you all this time. I am so sorry."

Khushi says "You need not be sorry Arnav. I know that you did not do anything. I know you are innocent. I want you out of this jail. I will do anything to get you out. I love you."

Arnav says "I know that you love me and can do anything for me. I am happy that in spite of all this, you still trust me that I did not do anything."

Khushi says "I know that you can never think of harming me or our child and Sonia is lying. I am sure that you will come out soon and I am waiting for you Arnav."

The police constable comes in and tells Khushi that the meeting time is over.

Arnav tells Khushi "You first take care of your health. You are so weak. Dad will take care of this. You just concentrate on my love's health as if my love is fine then I am fine too."

Khushi smiles and leaves the room.

The next day, Sonia is released from jail. Rajeev takes her in the car and on reaching home slaps Sonia.

He says "Why on earth you had to do this without my consent. With so much difficulty I could get you out of jail. I had to bribe the police constable to kill Kailash and make him put that suicide note in his pocket and had to make you change your statement as well. Why did you do this beta? You planned Khushi's murder which is such a big crime and for your crime, I too had to commit another crime. You also accepted this crime like a fool."

Sonia cries and says "Sorry dad. I did not know what I was doing. I love Arnav so much that I could not believe that he left me for that girl. I just hate him now and want him and Khushi dead. I just hate him."

Rajeev hugs Sonia and says "Don't cry Sonia. I am sorry I slapped you. I know it's not your fault and I have seen you crying day and night for that Arnav and he and his father did not think for a second about us. We had to go through so much humiliation as your marriage broke twice and you loved Arnav so much. He did not think about you at all but just left you to live your life alone."

He takes a deep breath and continues saying "Vikram whom I considered my friend betrayed me for a stranger. Gauri who considered you her daughter too did not care about you. She contacted you after that but just to cover up everything her son did. I will teach these Raizada's a lesson later but now we need to get the charges over you removed so that you are free from this case."

A month passes by...

The court notice comes and the hearing of Arnav's case has been scheduled after a week.

Sonia calls Khushi to her house saying that she has evidence which can prove Arnav is innocent.

Khushi reaches Sonia's house and the maid tells her to go to Sonia's room.

Khushi says "Why did you call me here Sonia? I know you lied saying you have proof that can prove Arnav innocent as if you wanted to prove him innocent, you would not put the blame on him. Why did you need to wait for a month? You loved Arnav and how can you do this to your love."

Sonia starts crying and says "Khushi, I know that you think that I am solely responsible for all this. But you are wrong. Arnav does not love anyone. He had planned to kill your child earlier as well and had mixed abortion tablets in the milk but then I stopped him as I did not want him to commit such a crime. I thought all this time that Arnav loved me but when he cheated me, it was then I realized that he cannot love anyone. He only loves himself. He told me that he has planned your murder and when I told that I will tell you the truth, he showed my my obscene pics and said that he will spoil my reputation and so I had to keep quite. He planned your murder because his dad decided to put the entire property on your child's name. He did this all for the sake of money only."

Khushi says "You think that I am going to believe you Sonia. I love Arnav and trust him completely. He can never do anything wrong to me and my child died because of my destiny. May be God did not want us to have this baby. I know that you are responsible for this."

Sonia says "Then why did I call you here? Arnav is only responsible for your child's death. He also told the doctor to kill the child and said that he wanted to save your life."

Khushi says "I don't know about the property papers and now it's of no use to talk about it as my child is already dead. I know that he wanted to save my life and so he took this decision. I was angry with him as well but when I saw the love for me and the pain of losing his child in his eyes, my anger vanished. He must have thought of giving me that milk to kill my child and I knew it long before. I had heard your conversation with Arnav that day when you came to give me those ladoos and that day I realized that it was you who were trying to poison me and I was sure that Arnav must have been forced by you to give me that milk else he will never do such a thing in his life."

Sonia gets furious as Khushi does not believe her at all and she gets shocked that Khushi knew about the milk incident as well.
