Arshi SS: My life, an unsolved mystery Chapter 20

Khushi is shocked on hearing this and says "But you love Sonia na. I mean to say that.. I don't want you to do something against your wish. I know that you love her and I have no issues with that. The only thing I wanted in my life was your happiness, nothing else. If you are saying this because of some reason, please tell me. For me this feeling is only enough that you don't hate me."

Arnav replies "I never hated you. I was only angry with the circumstances that came before me. I loved Sonia a lot but I guess my love was not enough. She never loved me the way I did and our destiny was not to be together else we would be together the day I met with an accident. Destiny had its own plans and so you came into my life and taught me what real love means. I don't want to hurt you anymore and want to start a new life with you. Will you accept this relationship and give me a chance to prove myself?"

Khushi has tears in her eyes and keeps looking at Arnav thinking if it is real or if it's a dream.

She looks down and leaves the room thinking "My heart tells me to give our love another chance but I don't trust my luck. It has been very tough for me to take the decision to leave Arnav and cannot afford to lose him once again."

Arnav feels bad that Khushi left without any reply but he understands her feelings as well.

The next day, the Raizada mansion are together having lunch at the dining table after many days and Vikram is unhappy with the fact that Khushi too is having lunch with them.

They all have ice creams as a desert. Gauri asked Khushi for her favorite flavor and Arnav replies saying "Mango."

Khushi was shocked to hear that Arnav remembers her favorite flavor still and feels glad that Arnav is getting his memory back slowly.

The next day, Arnav comes back from office in the evening. He sees Sonia feeding a ladoo to Khushi.

He rushes towards Khushi to stop her from eating the ladoo as her fears it may contain poison and so he throws the ladoo on the ground.

Khushi looks at Arnav with a surprise and Sonia gets up looking at Arnav's reaction.

Arnav says "Khushi, you cannot have anything from out as per doctor's advice."

Sonia smiles and says "These were homemade ladoos and for the good health of the baby and Khushi. You should have asked me before throwing the ladoo away. Or was there some other reason Arnav? I have told Khushi about the end of our relationship and that I will never interfere in your life again."

She looks at Khushi and says "Anyways, I am leaving now and Khushi, please take care of your health."

Sonia touches Khushi's shoulder, smiles and leaves.

Khushi looks at Arnav and smiles and Arnav takes Khushi to the room and tells her to take rest.

Arnav goes and meets Sonia who is still outside in the garden area of the mansion and says "Why did you come here? I told you not to come here again. You please stay away from Khushi and don't try to harm her. She has done nothing wrong. If you should have any problem, then it should be with me not her. Please don't do this Sonia."

Sonia replies with a smile "Oh Arnav. You misunderstand me so much. What do you think that I will give Khushi poison in your house and that too expose myself as a killer? No. I came here just to see how happy you both are."

Arnav says "I know you very well Sonia. You have not come here for this purpose."

Sonia says "If you know me very well Arnav, then why did you ditch me. Now, Khushi will have to soon pay for this."

Arnav says "Dare not do anything to her. I am there as her savior all the time and you will never be able to harm her."

Sonia says "Then wait and watch darling." She sits in her car and leaves.

After few days Arnav takes Khushi for a drive.

Arnav stops the car at a place that is dark and lonely and ties Khushi's eyes with a thin red scarf. He slowly guides her into a big hotel and uncovers this scarf.

Khushi opens her eyes slowly and is shocked to see rose petals fall on her head and soft music playing in the background.

Arnav stands in front of her, kneels down on his knees, takes her hand in her hand and says "Will you accept me Arnav Raizada as your lawfully wedded husband."

Khushi gets flashes of the first confession when Rohan proposes to her and everything happens in the same manner but at different petals.

It was rain drops that were falling on her head that day and today it is rose petals.

She keeps mum for sometime as she feels over joyed to see history repeating itself.

Rohan says "Please Khushi. I want to start my new life with you. Please say yes."

Khushi has tears of joy falling from her eyes and nods her head with a yes.

Arnav places a diamond ring in her finger and smiles and says "This ring was not so beautiful before but when it landed in your finger, it got its beauty and shine."

Khushi and Arnav hug each other and share a kiss. They spend the night in the hotel itself which is owned by Arnav's father.

The next morning Vikram Raizada is about to leave from office and see Arnav and Khushi entering the house holding each others' hands and smiling.

He asks Arnav is he is leaving with him for office to which Arnav replies "Dad, I'll just change and will come to office but in sometime."

Vikram gets a bit angry but controls his anger saying "Ok fine. But don't make it late. We got a number of meetings lined up."

Arnav says "Yes dad. I will be there in time."

On reaching office, Arnav enters the cabin of his dad and Vikram bursts out immediately asking him the reason for his politeness and love for Khushi.

Arnav says "Dad, she is my wife and now I have accepted her with my heart, soul and mind."

Vikram says "You are saying this Arnav? You had already signed the divorce papers right? And what about your love for Sonia. She was your life, your everything."

Arnav says "Yes dad, but I never filed them. I have accepted Khushi whole-heartedly and Sonia and I were not made for each other and there were a lot of differences in the way we think and feel for each other. Now Khushi only is my life and our child is our future."

Saying this, Arnav leaves the cabin.
