Arshi SS: My life, an unsolved mystery Chapter 22

Two months pass by...

Arnav is on the phone talking to someone saying "Is he going to come for tonight's function? Make sure he does else you will not receive any payment from my side and plus you will lose all contacts from my end."

Khushi enters the room and Arnav cuts the call off.

Khushi asks Arnav as to whose call it was but Arnav does not answer as he has planned a surprise for her on her Godh Bharai function and wants to keep it as a secret.

The secret was that Arnav had planned to invite Hrithik Roshan for the Godh Bharai function as he had been informed by Priya that Hrithik is Khushi's favorite movie star.

Khushi plans to visit the temple before the function starts the next morning and Arnav accompanies her to the temple.

While leaving the temple, Arnav gets down the stairs and meets a stranger who asks him for an address.

Khushi is still in the temple as she waits there to take the prasad and while leaving the temple, she sees Arnav talking to that stranger.

As she approaches Arnav, the stranger leaves and she questions Arnav as to who the stranger was to which he answers, he was asking for an address.

Gauri and Vikram get the entire house decorated for the Godh Bharai function and Gauri gets Khushi ready making her wear a beautiful designer sari which is green in color and has a red border.

Arnav calls his assistant up and asks about Hrithik's arrival to which the assistant replies that Hrithik is stuck in traffic and will be there in sometime.

Khushi hears this conversation and says "Arnav, please tell me whom are you waiting for and what's the surprise."

Arnav says "Baby, you need to have patience. Very soon you will have the biggest surprise in front of your eyes."

Khushi blushes and says "Ok, I know you won't tell me but I will wait for that surprise. Hope that it's good."

Arnav says "Of couse it will be good. For my darling wife."

Gauri takes Khushi to the hall and Arnav looks at his wife from top stairs as men are not allowed to attend the function.

All are happy dancing and Arnav keeps making calls to his assistant to inquire about Hrithik Roshan.

Khushi keeps looking at Arnav from the hall and both exchange smiles and eye-locks.

Arnav suddenly moves out of the house to wait Hrithik Roshan but he still does not find any sign for him.

Khushi searches Arnav from the hall but does not see him anywhere.

A maid comes and informs Khushi in her ears that Arnav has called her to meet her in the store room.

She wonders why did Arnav call her in the store room but she thinks again of his surprise and approaches the store room.

Khushi enters the room and sees that there is no light inside the room.

She calls out for Arnav but hears no sound.

Suddenly, she hears foot steps behind her and she turns behind and says "Arnav, is that you?"

The person approaches her and she moves towards the shadow.

As she moves in front, she feels a sudden pain in her stomach and she screams but the man holds her mouth.

He stabs her again in her stomach.

She feels the pain and tears keep falling from the eyes. She feels breathless as her mouth is covered and she starts bleeding profusely.

The man stabs her for the third time and hears someone approaching the store-room and pushes Khushi and escapes from the backdoor.

Khushi falls to the ground and she cannot see anything in front of her and suddenly the scene become black in front of her eyes.

She does not feel the pain nor she can cry out loudly and her eyes close and she faints on the ground.

Precap: Arnav and Sonia are arrested for planning attempted murder of Khushi...

Arnav waits for a long time but there is no sign of Hrithik Roshan and so finally comes inside and finds that Khushi is not in the function.

He asks the maid (the same maid who told Khushi that Arnav is waiting for her in the store room) about Khushi and she says "Sir, you had sometime back told me to to call Khushi mam to the store room."

Arnav says "I had told you? I was outside all this time."

The maid says "I told Khushi mam that you called her to the store room." Arnav says "But I did not tell you anything. Anyways, leave it."

Arnav approaches the store room.

The maid is confused whether the person who told her to call Khushi mam was Arnav sir or someone else as she had not seen the face clearly.

Arnav hears some sound of a person escaping and he enters the dark room and puts on the lights of the room.

He sees Khushi lying in a pool of blood. He rushes towards her takes her head in his arms and tries to wake her up but she had already been unconscious.

Arnav calls our for Gauri and Vikram and they all rush Khushi to the hospital.

The doctor begins the operation and Arnav keeps crying outside praying for Khushi and the child's safety.

Gauri prays to God and Vikram tries to console Arnav.

The doctor comes out and tells Arnav to come within his cabin.

He gives Arnav the Hospital consent papers to sign.

Arnav asks the doctor as to what the papers were for.

The doctor says that since the operation is complicated, Arnav will need to sign the papers stating that the hospital is not responsible for the consequences.

The doctor also mentions that since Khushi is bleeding a lot and she is pregnant, it is difficult for the doctor to save both the lives and he can only save one life.

He tells Arnav to tell him whether he needs to save Khushi or the child.

Arnav says "Doctor, please save both the lives. If anything happens to Khushi, I would not be able to live and if something happens to the child, Khushi would not be able to live. Please save both the lives."
