Arnav reaches his house and enters his bedroom.

He looks at Khushi caressing her stomach and smiling. He feels reluctant to approach her and ask her for the test.

Khushi looks at Arnav and smiles and says "Arnav here are the Divorce papers. I have signed them. I have prepared dinner as well from you and will now serve it. You go and change and I will serve the food in sometime."

She gets up from the bed and is about to leave when Arnav stops her.

Arnav says "Khushi. I want to tell you something."

Khushi says "Tell Arnav. What you want to say?"

Arnav says "It's about your condition."

Khushi says "Ok tell me. Are you ready to look after our child? Arnav, I know what you are going through now and I can understand but our child is not at fault na? I only want you to take this responsibility as my child needs a family and a father more. I promise never to interfere in your life again and will never ask for anything. Please accept our child."

Arnav feels hurt inside with Khushi's words and says "I am ready to accept the child."

Khushi smiles and says "Thanks Arnav. I am happy that you took this decision."

Arnav says "But before that, I need a test to be conducted."

Khushi says "Test? What test?"

Arnav says "It's just a small test just to find out if the baby is healthy."

Khushi says "Oh! I got scared Arnav. I thought that there was some problem. I am OK with any test. Tell me when should I go for this test?"

Arnav says "Tomorrow."

Khushi says with a smile "I am ready Arnav. I will come with you."

The next morning, Khushi gets ready to go to the hospital with Arnav.

Gauri asks Arnav and Khushi as to where they are going and Arnav says that it is a regular checkup and they both leave.

Arnav and Khushi reach the hospital and Khushi is surprised to see Sonia waiting in there.

Sonia tells Arnav that she has booked the appointment and now Khushi can go for the DNA test.

Khushi looks at Arnav in disbelief on hearing that he has brought her here for the DNA test for her baby.

Arnav looks at Khushi's face and notices tears in her eyes. Khushi enters the doctor's room with Arnav while Sonia waits in the lobby for the test to get over.

Arnav tells Khushi "I wanted to tell you this but.."

Khushi interrupts him "It's OK Arnav. If you wanted to bring me for this test, you could have told me yesterday as well. I would not feel bad. The only thing which hurt me is that today I need to prove that the child within me is yours. I don't have any issues with you."

She turns her face the other side and wipes her tears.

The test is conducted successfully but the Doctor notices certain complications in the pregnancy.

She informs Arnav about Khushi's condition and says that she is really very weak and needs to take rest.

The doctor says "Her blood pressure level is too low and on asking her, she told me that she often gets pain in her stomach and bleeding as well. You need to take care of her."

Arnav gets tensed to know of Khushi's health and after the tests gets over, Arnav holds Khushi's hand as she is feeling weak and guides her to the car.

Sonia gets upset looking at Arnav's softness towards Khushi but does not say anything.

She asks the doctor about the test reports to which the doctor says that it would take 3 days for the results to come.

Khushi's health becomes worse the next day.

She starts getting a lot of pain in her stomach and bleeding as well.

Gauri gets worried to see Khushi's state and sits besides her the whole night.

Arnav feels sorry for Khushi and tells Gauri to go to her room and rest and assures her that he will take care of Khushi.

Khushi starts feeling more restless at night and so Arnav rushes her to the hospital and Gauri too accompanies them.

Arnav asks the doctor "Why is she getting so much pain? Has it anything to do with the tests conducted on her that day?"

Doctor says "No. It's not the DNA test but as I had told you that day about Khushi's condition, she is too weak physically as well as emotionally and so she needs to calm down a bit. Please make sure that she does not take a lot of tension and needs to be happy and cheerful."

Gauri over hears this conversation and is shocked to see that her son went to this extent to conduct a test to ensure the child is his or not.

After Arnav talks to the doctor, Gauri confronts him asking about the reason to conduct such a test. Arnav does not have any answer.

Gauri says "You know what you have done Arnav? You have not only conducted this test but you have put a blame on that girl's character. She is your wife and has been bearing so much pain for no reason. She did not even tell me about this test till now and I would have never come to know about it till I heard you asking the doctor about it. Why did you do this? What was the need? I cannot believe my son can go to this extent. I am ashamed of you."

Arnav remains silent and feels ashamed of his behavior towards Khushi. He feels sorry for her and at the same time curses himself for all the harsh comments he kept telling her.

Khushi gets discharged from the hospital within 2 days.

On the other hand, the DNA report gets delivered to Sonia's house and she gets excited to see the result of the report.

She checks the reports and gets to know that the test results are positive.

She calls Arnav to her house and he rushes to her house after hearing her voice which sounded furious.

Arnav enters Sonia's house and sees her walking in the hall.

She takes him to her room and locks the door. She shows him the DNA reports and says that the result is positive.

Arnav is taken aback on hearing that her is the child's biological father and realizes that till now whatever he had been doing to Khushi was wrong and she always told him the truth but still he never believed her.

Sonia asks Arnav "How could you do this Arnav? You slept with her? You gave her the right which you had to give me? Answer me Arnav. How could you do this to me?"

She catches the collar of his shirt and shakes him demanding an answer but Arnav does not have any answer.

Arnav then tries to console Sonia but Sonia outbursts at him and tells him to leave.

Arnav reaches home and sees Gauri taking care of Khushi.

Gauri says softly "Khushi is asleep." Before Arnav asks anything, Gauri comes out of the room calling the maids to serve dinner for Arnav.

Gauri spends the night in Arnav's room and looks after Khushi.

Arnav keeps trying to call Sonia the entire night but Sonia keeps cutting off the phone and then she turns the phone off.

After 3 days, Sonia calls Arnav to her house. Arnav says "How are you Sonia? Why did you not pick up my phone? You know I was so tensed."

Sonia says "Take this bottle."

Arnav is confused on looking at her reaction and says "What is this bottle?"

Sonia says "This bottle contains pills which help in abortion."

Arnav gets a start and says "What do you mean by giving me this bottle? You want to.."

Sonia says "This I am doing for both of us Arnav. You just need to put two pills in the milk and then our tension is over."

Arnav says "How can you say this? I am so shocked to see that you are telling this to me. You were never like this Sonia. You always cared for others."

Sonia says "Please stop telling me all this Arnav. Now I do not want to hear anything else. You just do as I say and make Sonia to drink this. The child wil fall and with that she also will have to go from our life. She has signed the divorce papers as well. Soon she will be out of our life."

Arnav says "I cannot believe this. Sonia, you want to kill the child? You know what are you talking about. It's so risky. I love you but I cannot kill anyone. That child is mine also."

Sonia gets more angry and says "That child is yours? You now are feeling bad for her. That means you do not love me. You were always fooling me and that's why you did not get married to me. All this was your plan right?"

Arnav holds Sonia's hands and says "How can you say this Sonia? You know how much I love you. Except you there is no place for anyone in my life. Please don't ask me to do anything which hurts my conscience."

Sonia says "Ok. You don't want to do this. Then I will drink these pills myself. I don't want anything now and just want to die."

Arnav stops Sonia and grabs the bottle from Sonia's hand while she keeps shouting to leave her hand but he just takes off the bottle.

Arnav says "What you are doing Sonia? Why are you doing this? I love you" He hugs her.

After some time, Arnav finally agrees reluctantly to give Khushi the pills after getting assurance from her that the pills won't be a threat to Khushi's life.

Arnav reaches home and enters the kitchen where the maid is about to take milk for Khushi.

He tells the maid that Gauri has been asking for you and sends him outside the kitchen.

He hesitates for sometime thinking whether he is doing right or wrong but then thinks about Sonia's life and puts two pills in the milk and stirs the glass.

The maid comes in the kitchen and says "Gauri mam was not calling me."

Arnav says "She needed something so I told you to go to her and help her out."

He leaves the kitchen and watches the maid taking the glass of milk to his room.

The maid keeps the glass on the table near Khushi's bed and leaves the room. Khushi then receives a call from Priya.

Arnav stands outside and hears the conversation.
