PUNE
Kasturi starts getting cramps in her stomach and Vikram rushes her to the nearby hospital.
The doctors admit Kasturi in the operation theatre while Vikram calls up Rajeev to accompany him at the hospital.
“Don’t worry Vikram. Kasturi and your baby will be fine.” Rajeev says while consoling him.
Vikram folds his hands saying “I don’t know but I am very scared of the operation. The doctor said that the child turned inside the stomach and so they need to go for a caesarean. I am just praying that she is fine and the baby too is fine.”
“Relax Vikram. Everything will be fine and this is the best hospital. Sure you will get the good news.” Rajeev says with a smile.
“Where is Khushi?”
“She is with my wife at home. She is fine.” Rajeev responds.
After 1 and a half hour…
The doctor comes out and says “The operation was successful. Your wife has given birth to a baby boy and both the mother and the child are fine.”
Vikram hugs Rajeev and goes inside the operation theatre. The nurse says “Now your wife is still unconscious. The baby is in the incubator as he was having a breathing issue.” She asks him to leave the room.
Rajeev leaves the room and waits till he can see his wife and child. Rajeev asks Vikram to go to the canteen and have some food as he has been hungry all day. They leave for the canteen.
After 20 minutes, Vikram and Rajeev come back and notice the nurse screaming and panicking. They keep asking the nurse and the doctor about the issue but nobody is able to answer them but they keep screaming. Vikram rushes inside the operation theatre and notices his wife lying lifeless on the bed. Her face was covered with a plastic bag and her mouth was open as if she was struggling for breath during her last moments.
Vikram stands shocked to see his wife as a corpse and he does not how to react in this situation and Rajeev calls up the police for investigation.
Another house….
A person cuts his wrist and pours the blood from his hand into a bottle. He has pinned the photographs of the Raichand’s on his wall. The person crosses the face of Kasturi and pours blood on the photograph from the bottle.
He scribbles on the wall and dips the pen in the bottle to write “Today it was your wife Vikram Raichand but soon it will be your entire family. I’ll finish you and your family. I want to see you dead.”
He starts laughing and remembers how he climbed the hospital pipe and entered the operation theatre through the window. He had a plastic bag in his hand. He approached Kasturi who was sleeping on the bed with an oxygen mask on her mouth. She had a glucose pipe injected in her one wrist. He went near her and took off the oxygen mask. She started breathing heavily as it was taken off. He takes the plastic bag from his hand and puts it over her face, closing it from all sides which makes her open her eyes and mouth as she struggles for every breath. Her legs start moving and hands start shivering but he continues strangling her and enjoys watching her losing her life and pleading for it. He tightens the grip of the plastic bag and after 3 minutes, Kasturi gives up her struggle for life and closes her eyes.
He leaves the plastic bag on her face and looks around the room before rushing to the window. He gets out and climbs down via the pipe and runs away.
