Khushi and Rohan wait for the report and finally the report gets delivered to their home. Khushi takes the report from Rohan's hand and finds out that she is 5 weeks pregnant.
Rohan keeps asking Khushi about the report and says "What happened? What's in the report? Please tell love what's in the report?" Khushi answers "We are going to be a dad and mom soon". Rohan says "What? Are you, I mean are you, mmm..." Khushi says "Yes, I'm expecting a baby." Rohan carries Khushi in happiness and says "Oh Khushi, you have made me so happy." Khushi tells "Put me down Rohan (and laughs)..."
The next day, Rohan comes home and goes into the bedroom making Khushi remain outside. He comes out and covers Khushi's eyes with his hand and carefully takes her in the room. He then removes his hand from her eyes and Khushi is shocked to see the entire room decorated and photos of babies all over the room with soft toys on the bed along with a pram.
Khushi says "What's this Rohan? Our baby is not yet come into this world and you have already bought so many toys?"
Rohan laughs and says "It's our first child and I want to give the child everything."
Khushi says but so much money you spent and Rohan interrupts her and says "I have got a new job. I went to a nearby cyber cafe and asked them for a part-time job and they have agreed for me to work on a part time basis."
Khushi says "Means you will work in our office as well as in the cyber cafe? You will work all the days of the week?" She starts crying after that. Rohan wipes her tears and says "Don't cry Khushi. I want to give you and our baby all the happiness of this world and can do anything for you and our child."
Khushi smiles and says "You will be a very good dad". Rohan says "And you will be the best mom in the world for our little princess." Khushi says "Princess? No! It will be a prince." Rohan says "No princess." Khushi says "No prince." And they keep arguing with each other and finally Rohan says "Ok. This time it will be a prince but next time I want a princess." Khushi laughs.
After few days in the office, Khushi starts searching online for the name of her baby. She comes and tells Rohan during the lunch break, "I have finalized 2 names. If it's a boy, the name will be Karthik and a girl then Ronica." Rohan says "Whatever my love wants."
They both keep talking about the baby's future and what will the baby look like and keep having their cute fights.
After few days, Rohan is returning back from the cyber cafe. He is surrounded by 5 boys with hockey sticks in their hand of which one is Karan. Karan laughs at Rohan and says "So finally I got you Rohan and that too without your dearest wife Khushi." Rohan says "Dare you take her name from your bad mouth." Karan says "Now I will take her name forever as you will be no more to see her. Bye forever Mr. Rohan. Today's your last day."
Karan's friends catch Rohan from behind and Karan takes out a hockey stick and hits Rohan on his head". Rohan tries to free himself but fails as he starts bleeding profusely. Rohan tries to kick Karan but Karan gives him another hit with the hockey stick on his head and Rohan falls to the ground. The five boys together attack Rohan and keep hitting him badly on his head and body with the hockey sticks.
Karan watches a car approaching them and he gets scared and tells te boys "Lets run. I guess he's already dead as he is not moving. Leave him and let's escape before we are caught." They all run away in their jeep.
The car stops when the man inside sees Rohan lying on the road with blood all over his face and shirt. The man is none other than Rajeev (Sonia's father). He recognizes Rohan as Arnav and rushes him to the hospital. He informs Vikram and Gauri and the next day, both come to the hospital. Gauri is shocked to see her son Arnav bleeding and starts weeping.
The doctor's come out of the operation theater and say that Arnav has got many head injuries but is out of danger as Rajeev brought him on time to the hospital.
Gauri takes a sigh of relief and rushes in the room. She keeps her hand on Arnav's face and kisses him on his forehead.
The night passes by and Arnav comes to consciousness. He sees Gauri besides him and says "Mom." Gauri says "Arnav, how are you son? Are you fine? How did you get this hurt?" Arnav says "Mom (in a soft voice). I met with an accident as my car dashed into a truck." Gauri is surprised to hear this as the incident happened 10 months back.
Gauri asks the doctor about Arnav's answer. Doctor checks Arnav and asks him few more questions. He comes out and says that due to the injuries in his head, he does not remember what has happened in these 10 months and his mind has stopped at his car accident incident. He tells Gauri that this is normal as it has happened with many patients but not to worry as he can still recover and get back his memory, but it will take some time.
