Khushi and Rohan visit a jewelry shop but Rohan has just enough money to buy a gold ring for Khushi but he decides to gift her a chain as well which will be their love sign. He buys a gold ring and 2 silver chains with heart-shaped pendants. Khushi on the other hand buys a gold ring for Rohan.
Rohan puts their photograph in the heart-shaped pendant and puts one chain for Khushi and the other one for him. Khushi asks him as to why he purchased these chains. He says "This chain is our love sign and they have our photographs in it. When I am not around you, you can touch this chain and feel my presence and the same goes for me as well."
Khushi says "I will not need this chain as you will always remain with me only and I will never let you out of my sight. Rohan blushes and says "Really!!! How much close will you keep me." Khushi laughs and shies away.
Priya calls up Khushi and says that their marriage is fixed in the temple. The date is fixed for next week and the timings are in the afternoon.
The next day, Khushi and Rohan go for the wedding shopping and buy simple clothes as their budget is tight. Khushi plans to invite only 20 people for the reception and have the reception in the building itself as their budget can afford only that much.
Rohan feels sad that he could not do so much for his Khushi and tells her "You are my dream and I want to give you everything you need but now I am not able to afford it but there will soon come a time where I will get the best things for you." Khushi smiles and says "I do not need any expensive gifts and am happy with what I have and that's you Rohan. I have you and do not need anything more in my life".
Rohan and Khushi get ready in their bridal outfits and reach the temple. They exchange rings and sit near the fire and the priest starts the marriage mantras. Rohan puts sindoor in Khushi's forehead and the mangalsutra around her neck. Both smile at each other.
Rohan and Khushi get up to take the seven steps:
They promise to nourish each other in the first step, to grow together in strength in the second step, to preserve their wealth in the third step, to share their joys and sorrows in the fourth step, to care for their children and parents in the fifth step, to be together forever in the sixth step and to remain friends and have trust in each other lifelong in the seventh step.
Now they are announced as husband and wife by the priest and they seek his blessings. They receive a certificate of their marriage and Priya and few of the neighbors of Khushi stand as the witnesses to their marriage.
The couple have a small celebration in their building and Rohan catches Khushi's hand and whispers in her ear "Now you are mine forever and I will never leave your hand." Khushi holds his hand tighter and says softly "I love you Rohan." Rohan says "I love you too my Khushi".
Priya has decorates the room for the newly married couple.
Khushi sits on the bed and waits for Rohan to come. Rohan enters the room and Khushi feels shy to look at him. He comes near her and sits on the bed. They both look at each other and Rohan says "Today we have become husband and wife." Khushi does not say anything and a tear drops from her eyes. Rohan wipes her tears and says "I cannot bear any tears in your eyes whether happy or sad and I promise you that I will always be with you and make you smile." They both hug each other and the night passes by...
In the morning, Khushi hears some noise from the kitchen. Before she gets off the bed, Rohan comes near her with a tray containing a cup of coffee and pan cakes.
Khushi is surprised and asks him "Rohan, how did you know that I love eating pan cakes in the morning?" Rohan says "I have asked Priya all your likes and dislikes and know that you used to avoid eating pan cakes and drinking coffee just because of me. You started eating aloo parathas although you did not like eating it and drinking tea instead of coffee."
Khushi said "Yes. Priya loves aloo paratha and so I used to prepare it for her but when you also said you love it, I also started loving it. I love to have everything you have". Rohan replied "Khushi, you do not need to change your habits for me. I love the way you are and you always will remain the same for me and from today you will eat and drink and live the way you used to earlier." Khushi smiled and they both hugged each other.
