Arshi SS: My life, an unsolved mystery Chapter 13

Gauri calls up Vikram, Rajeev and Sonia informing them about Khushi and stops the marriage preparations.

Vikram gets furious to know that Gauri is trusting a stranger. He comes home and insults Gauri and says "How can you believe a stranger. She claims to be his wife and you believe her? How can you be so foolish?" Gauri says "She is Arnav's wife and she is not lying. I know that she is telling the truth and I have seen the photographs of her with Arnav. Arnav too bears a tattoo with her name."

Vikram gets more angry and says "That girl is just a gold digger. She must have found out that Arnav is unmarried and so rich and does not remember the past 10 months and so she has made up stories."

Gauri says "How does Arnav bear the tattoo then? I know that Khushi is not lying."

Vikram refuses to believe Gauri.

Arnav insults Khushi and says "Who the hell are you? Why are you claiming to be my wife? I don't even know you and am not interested to know you. I love Sonia and for me only she is my wife and not you. You just leave immediately before I call the guards to throw you out."

Khushi stands in the same place crying and does not say a word.

Arnav takes Khushi's bag and holds her hand firmly and pulls her out of the room. He is about to throw her out of the house when Gauri comes and stops him.

Gauri says "I know Arnav that it is difficult for you to digest the truth but please give this girl one chance to prove herself. Don't do anything wrong else afterwards you will regret for your action and words."

Gauri tells Khushi "Arnav's dad and I want to visit Goa to know the entire truth. Please don't mind girl but this is only to make all believe you. I trust you and you do not need to get scared of anyone."

Khushi agrees and Arnav says "I will not go anywhere mom. This girl is lying." Gauri convinces him to come to Goa with her.

Sonia tells Arnav not to worry and she knows that Arnav will not get married to anyone or love anyone besides her.

Rajeev questions Vikram and Vikram says "Do not worry Rajeev. This is just a matter of a day. Everything will be sorted and I'll make sure that Sonia only becomes the daughter-in-law of the house. I'll teach this girl Khushi a lesson for ruining the moment but need to go to Goa for Gauri's satisfaction."

Goa:

Vikram, Gauri, Arnav and Khushi reach Goa and reach the building where Rohan used to live with Khushi. They inquire with the neighbors, the office staff where Rohan and Khushi used to work, the cyber cafe staff, the Police where Khushi had files a complaint, the temple where they both got married and everything only proves that Khushi was telling the truth. Priya too supports Khushi.

Khushi shows Arnav and his family the house where she lives with Rohan and the marriage certificate as a proof. Arnav still does not believe her and says that all this is a plan and the witnesses are fake.

Vikram does not believe anyone and just leaves. Gauri follows him and tries to convince him about accepting Khushi as their daughter-in-law but Vikram refuses. Vikram says "I don't trust this girl and will never accept her as my daughter-in-law. She's a fraud and you don't try to convince me."

Arnav tells Khushi "So all the people have been bought by you and you are now claiming to be my legal wife. What do you want, tell me? Money? Take this." He takes out a bundle of notes from his wallet and puts it in her hand.

Khushi gives him the money back saying "You seriously think that I am lying Rohan? How can you forget me. I am your wife. I am not lying and I do not want any money from you."

Rohan says "I guess these notes are not enough, right? I will give you more. You just tell me what you want and then back off."

Khushi is hurt with his words and does not answer him and starts crying. Arnav forcibly puts the notes in her hand once again and tells her to inform him about how much money she wants and he will send a check to her house. He also warns her saying "I don't want to see your face again. You don't come to Mumbai. Tell me the amount you want and never ever come in front of me again." Arnav leaves.

Gauri comes the house and sees Arnav going out in anger and Khushi lying on the ground with her knees touching the ground and the notes in her hand.

Gauri makes Khushi to get up and consoles her saying "Don't get hurt by what Arnav said girl. He does not know the truth and he is not bad at hurt. It's just the circumstances that have made him so harsh and rude. Once he remembers everything, I am sure he will accept you whole heartedly. He just needs time. You just pack your bags and come with me to Mumbai."

Khushi says "No aunty. I do not want to hurt Arnav. He hates me and I have seen the hatred in his eyes for me. I can bear not being with him but I cannot bear his hatred for me."

Gauri says "He does not hate you but this time is not right for the both of you. You'll need to be together to solve the matter. You staying far will make things worse for you and your child. Your child needs a father and you need your husband. You are my daughter-in-law and Arnav has to accept you."

Gauri takes Khushi with her to Mumbai.
