Arnav is released from jail and all charges are withdrawn. Sonia's statement is proved invalid as she changed her initial statement.
Rajeev Kapoor takes over the entire Raizada mansion and the business as well.
The police try to investigate the case as the bank manager and the police constable do not disclose the person who was behind the murder and the planning and they tell the police that a business rival of Mr Raizada had given us orders but are not aware of the person's identity.
Even Khushi's statement mentions that she had not seen the person who attacked her that day.
The investigation later on is kept on hold.
3 months pass by...
MUMBAI:
Arnav tries to contact Khushi and even goes to Goa to meet her but Khushi refuses to see Arnav or talk to him as she fears that if Sonia gets to know, she may again plan against Arnav and he will fall in trouble once again because of her.
Arnav gets information about Khushi from Priya.
Arnav, Vikram and Gauri lose their property to Rajeev and start living in Gauri's house owned by her parents.
Vikram and Arnav start a small IT firm and manage to earn their living while Gauri works for an old-age home and serves the old ladies and take scare of them, thus earning a small amount every month from the Government.
Sonia starts consuming alcohol, visits bars, parties whole night and spends the night with different men everyday in the hope of forgetting Arnav and his betrayal.
She loses control over her mind and in spite of Rajeev trying to console his daughter, she refuses to listen to him and does only what she likes.
She brings her boyfriends home everyday and Rajeev in spite of knowing about this cannot stop his own daughter from ruining her life completely.
Goa:
Khushi takes up a new job in the same office she used to work earlier.
She stays in Priya's house as the house where she used to live with Rohan/Arnav earlier has been given to another tenant.
A day passes by...
Vikram gets a heart attack and Arnav and Gauri rush him to the hospital.
Arnav does not have enough money to pay the hospital fees and so admits Vikram in a Government hospital.
After 2 days...
Sonia leaves the bar at around 3:00 a.m. at night and she is high on alcohol and not able to stand nor sit properly.
She drives the car back home at that time.
A man walking on the road suddenly hears a car coming from behind and the girl driving the car is none other than Sonia.
She sees the man and tries to put the brake but loses control and closes her eyes and runs over the man.
Suddenly she realizes that she has killed a person.
She stops the car, gets off and holds the door of the car to balance herself as she feels too dizzy and is not able to see anything.
Sonia walks towards the body lying on the road and bends down to see the person.
She finds the person is bleeding and is blood is all over his shirt as well. He seems to be already dead.
Sonia starts panicking and starts telling herself "What have you done Sonia? You killed this man. Why did you have to drink so much? What if somebody has seen this accident? What if I get arrested for this? What will happen to my future? What will I do?"
Sonia gets scared as she is alone and not able to carry the body and place it in the car as well. She runs towards the car and calls up her dad.
Rajeev reaches the spot and consoles Sonia that nothing will happen to her.
He takes the body and places it in the dickey and they both drive away to their guesthouse nearby as if they go to a place that's far away, the police might check the car.
Rajeev takes the body out from the dickey and buries the body in the garden area.
Rajeev and Sonia drive off from there and Rajeev tells Sonia not to worry as nobody can come to their guest house as it is a lonely place and lonely area as well.
Khushi cuts vegetables and looks out of the window.
She recollects the days she spent with Arnav in Mumbai and how he used to stop her from doing any work.
He used to scold her whenever she used to try to enter the kitchen trying to make for him some breakfast or lunch and he used to carry her in his arms and take her to the bedroom.
Remembering that, Khushi does not realize that she is cutting her own finger with the knife.
Her finger starts bleeding but Khushi keeps cutting on it and looking outside the window with tears dripping from her eyes.
Priya comes to the kitchen and sees that Khushi has cut her finger and takes off the knife from her hand.
Priya says "Khushi, what's this. Where is your attention? You are cutting you own finger and so much blood is coming out but still you don't realize the pain?"
Khushi looks at her finger and starts crying and hugs Priya. Priya then bandages her finger and consoles her.
After 2 days, Sonia receives a video clip on her cell phone which shows how Rajeev and Sonia were present in the garden area of their house and were burying the body.
Sonia starts panicking and calls Rajeev to the house.
She shows him the video and after sometime, Sonia gets a call from the same number that sent the MMS.
The person on the call asks Sonia to meet him alone if she wants the evidence he has with him.
He texts her the address of the place he wants to meet her and the timing as well.
Goa:
The next day, Khushi and Priya go out to buy some vegetables from the market.
Karan (who used to work in Khushi and Rohan's office and who had earlier attacked Rohan) sees Khushi and is shocked to see her in Goa after so many months. He assumes that Rohan is dead as well.
Karan approaches Khushi and says "Hey Khushi. So good to see you here."
Khushi looks at him and pretends to ignore him and leaves from there.
