Arnav returned back home in the evening and Gauri confronted him. She tried to explain him that he is not able to understand Khushi's decision but he was adamant to listen anything.
He felt that was he was thinking is right and Khushi did not bother asking him before taking any decision and so why does he need to think anything about her.
He went to his room and noticed Khushi putting the clothes in her bag. He thought that she has again planned to leave the house. He said "Now what's this new drama?"
Khushi looked at him and did not feel like replying him. Arnav's anger increased when he did not get any response from her and went near her, grabbed her by the hand and said "Where are you going?" Khushi did not say anything.
Arnav grabbed her closer and looking at the pain in her eyes, he was not able to say anything more to her. Her doe shaped eyes and the pain visible in it was making him weak to talk. The person whom he loved the most and for him he left his parents as well was the reason behind his anger and pain but still he couldn't see a single tear in her eyes.
Arnav felt like taking Khushi in his arms and leaving behind all the bitter memories but something was stopping him within.
They kept looking into each other’s eyes and asking each other questions which they could not ask verbally. Their trance was broken by the knock at the door. Gauri came in and Arnav left Khushi' hand. She said "Beta, why did you pack your bags? I told you that I would do it myself. You needed to rest know."
Arnav looked at Gauri and said "Mom this..." Gauri said "Arnav, Khushi wanted to put her clothes in the cupboard and I told her that I will do that since she is not well. Beta, you rest and take these tablets. You will feel better."
Gauri went out of the room and Arnav followed her saying "Sorry mom. I dint mean to hurt you by not listening to you."
Gauri said "It's OK beta. I only was trying to make you think why Khushi took the decision but I guess you are a grown up boy now and I have no right to tell you anything. You will understand this on your own but I hope that it does not become too late then."
The next morning, Gauri knocked the door and Khushi opened it. She went inside and said "Khushi, give this breakfast to Arnav."
Khushi said "Mom, I..? He won't eat it if I give him."
Gauri said "I know Khushi that Arnav is not talking to you but he still cares for you. If it was not the case then yesterday when you were packing your bag, Arnav would have not reacted the way he did. He felt you are leaving the house and that was relevant in his eyes. He is not able to accept it right now and he needs some time."
Gauri caresses her back and continues saying "Khushi, I know my Raghav since he just opened his eyes in this world. Even when he was young and he fought with his friend who lied to him, he did not talk to his friend for 3 months and then when his friend was leaving the school, he just ran to his house and embraced him resolving all the issues between them. He keeps many things in his heart and cannot express himself due to his emotions but he loves you a lot. You are his wife. If you both keep your ego and don't interact with each other, things may get worse. One person needs to break the ice and now it's you who need to make an effort. Arnav is very stubborn and only you can make him understand, nobody else. You need to melt his heart so that you'll two can start your life again."
Khushi took the breakfast plate and approached Arnav, offering him to eat his breakfast. Arnav looked up to face her and noticed a smile on her face. It was as if she was trying to make an effort to forget all those mistakes and have a new beginning to their relationship.
Khushi's POV:
I know Arnav that you are still angry with me and my mistake isn't letting you move forward. I don't want you to forget the past but we are now in a relationship that cannot be broken. We have committed ourselves to each other and you need to give me a chance to make our relationship better. You still love me and I too love you. We cannot stay without each other and now when we are together, why are these distances still existing between us? We need to be together as you are my strength and I am yours.
Arnav's POV:
Is she doing this just because mom spoke to her? Else she wanted to break this relationship earlier. Now why is she pretending to be a good wife? She doesn't ever try to understand me and these things don't make a difference now.
Arnav said "Why did you come? It's the maid’s job, not yours."
Khushi smiled and said "Being your wife, it's my job. You used to make breakfast for me earlier and now it's my turn."
Arnav smirked and said "It's a job for you and hence you are with me today, right? Anyways, keep it on the table."
Khushi was not affected by his words today as she only wanted him to accept his love for her and she wanted to give her relationship a second chance.
