On the way back home, Khushi and Arnav don't interact with each other. Khushi looked outside the window feeling that Arnav once also did not say anything to his mom or her mom regarding their relationship and neither did he look disgusted or angry when her mom said that she would stay with him.
The car stopped and Gauri went inside the house first to arrange for Khushi and Arnav's welcome. Vikram told Arnav and Khushi to get down from the car and Gauri brought a plate with a diya to welcome both. She put a tikka on Khushi and Arnav's forehead and made Khushi to put her leg on the bowl of rice and kick it slowly. Arnav and Khushi entered the house together.
Gauri took Khushi upstairs to show her Arnav's room and Arnav too followed them. She opened the door and Khushi was stunned to see the room as her photographs were there all over the room, on the walls, on the table, on the cupboard and it made her feel nostalgic.
Gauri said "This entire room is full of your photographs Khushi. When Arnav's dad had a tiff with your dad, that day Arnav was so upset. You both were not talking to each other and so he put up your photographs all over the room and kept talking to them."
Arnav looked down hearing this and Khushi's eyes teared up thinking that Arnav loved her so much.
Gauri told Arnav to make space for Khushi's clothes in the cupboard and left to prepare dinner.
Arnav removed all the clothes from the cupboard in frustration and packed it in a bag. He said "Now this cupboard, this bed, the furniture and this room is all yours."
Khushi said "Arnav, you can stay here. I'll sleep in another room."
Arnav looked at her angrily and said "No need. Mom has told you to stay here and I don't want to hurt her anymore. I have hurt my parents enough and now want them to be happy." He turned to leave the room when Khushi said "So that's why you did not stop me from staying her?"
Arnav controlled his tears and without turning towards her he said "That's what you think right? Fine."
He opened the curtain and the door that was a partition between the bedroom and the gaming room where he used to rest on the couch and play games or do his work. He sat on the sofa and rested his head on the cushion thinking "She thinks that I did not say anything because of mom. I too wanted her to stay here but she does not want and only came here because her mom said so. May be I am also responsible for this but why can't she understand me? She always only does and thinks what she wants to and now my words don't matter for her at all."
Khushi said to herself "This means I was right. He did not want me to come here and only because of Gauri mom and Vikram dad, he did not say anything. I don't know how to make my relationship stable when Arnav does not even want to see my face for a second."
Khushi did not feel like unpacking her bags and she just pushed her bag under the bed and rested on the couch.
After some time, Gauri knocked the door inviting them for lunch. Khushi and Arnav came down but separately. They ate the food without talking to each other and Gauri noticed the silence between them.
Gauri asked Vikram "Is everything OK between the kids? I don't know why I feel that there is some bitterness between them. May be a problem?"
"Gauri, I don't think so there is any issue. Arnav and Khushi seemed happy when we asked them to come with us. May be Khushi is feeling low due to her father's health and hence Raghav too is feeling low. In any case, they are matured now and they can solve their problems if any. We as parents shouldn't interfere."
