Khushi tried to console Rajeev but Kasturi slapped her for lying to them.
They refused to hear any justification from Khushi and stopped talking to her.
The next day, Arnav called up Khushi asking if her parents have spoken to her and understood her but Khushi tells him that they are not talking to hear.
Hearing this, Arnav felt bad that he was unable to help her and he told her that he has spoken to Gauri (his mom) and she was happy to know about their relationship.
He also wished her Happy New Year.
Khushi feels contended on hearing that but Rajeev entered the room and Khushi disconnected the call as she got scared of him.
Khushi stopped eating food as she wanted Kasturi to feed her as she used to do before but her mom did not forgive her and kept ignoring her which made Khushi restless.
She stopped going to college and Vikram cancelled her name from the college and applied for admission in Mumbai University and told Khushi that she has now to study through correspondence only.
Khushi kept sitting in her room all alone while Sunaina kept trying to convince Kasturi and Rajeev to accept Arnav for Khushi. Looking at Khushi's state and seeing that she loves Arnav a lot, Vikram agreed to meet Arnav and his parents once.
Gauri managed to convince Vikram as well to meet Khushi's parents once.
